A) yes, there's a dowel that would need removing from the head, oil filler pot + hoses to relocate, and the idle valve, and if its a 1.9 then an inlet hose from afm to t/b making/sourcing

B ) yes, the droplink location differs, not sure how most have got around that, there's no brake hose bracket so something would need to be fabricated, or just cable tie the hose.

c) only if the cooling system can't regulate the engine temperature sufficiently that the oil gets too hot, typically theyre lonly needed on track, and even then most need to be covered to prevent over cooling.

I have no experience of thermostatically controlled oil coolers though.

Your use of the words "cud" and "wud" (not that they are even words :D ) is proof that your habit is not healthy <_<

I'm running a GTi6 inlet & TB on mine. As Welshpug said, oil filler hose needs to be moved (mines over the starter now like an 8v), adapt a spacer for the TPS, blank off the 6 ICV and use body to connect to Mi16 ICV, you can use the GTi6 TB hose (it has a takeoff for an ICV, the ignition coil needs moving (mines on the battery tray) and the washer tank too (scuttle panel).

Mine was a bit of a bodge but I think I've ironed all the giggles with it now and idles lovely. Even has that rorty GTi6 induction noise. I only changed it over because I got fed up with knackered Mi16 TBs.

One thing to be warned of, as I recently found out, is with the 6 inlet on you cannot get the alternator out. You have to pull it clear for access!
