Fan Heater Not Working

another little problem has raised its head...again

 

needed to demist the screen yesterday, switched heater to hot and fan onto full.

worked for about 5 seconds before making this grinding sound then stopping entirely, tried it again, same story, then it didnt work at all after that

im still getting a change between hot and cold air coming through so i believe its just the heater fan.

 

i've no idea about any of this aspect of the car. thoughts on the fault? any guides on what to do regarding?

Sounds like you need a new heater fan i have had 2 replaced in my 205, you have to remove the glove-box to get to and its not a hard job to change the fan.

You dont need to remove the glovebox, just three screws holding the fan in from the passenger footwell.

ah that doesnt sound too bad then! (famous last words) ill have a lil poke at that tonight i reckon!
