Unknown Noise On Startup

ive managed to finally get round to this niggly fault that i cant work out.

 

as soon as the engine fires after start up i get the uuuuuurrrrrrh noise (ill try and sort out a video of it to help)

its only or like 1 second or something then goes away, the engine starts ok just this noise after its started.

it sounds like someones left the keep turned all the way over instead of letting it roll back when starting the car which is why we think its the starter

 

its had a new alternator, alternator belt and alternator mount on it - this was the other option as we thought it could be a slipping belt, plus the old one was shagged to bits.

 

ive seen a few posts about starter issues and a multiplug, but not sure where to go.

anyone encountered this before?

Sounds like its simply a knackered starter motor and the ring gear isnt diengaging properly. Try another starter motor
