i was planning on getting a set of T1R's as i've had them before but just checked ebay and found that the PX4's are £12 cheaper, i know its only £12 but what are people views on the new PX4's compared to the T1R's? should i pay the extra £12 or not?

here are the ebay links:

If you are satisfied with your T1-R then don't change it.

I would agree, if you are happy with T1-Rs then it's not worth trying to save the money. In general you get what you pay for. I have T1-Rs on my Audi and 205 and T1-S Toyos on my 306 and i would say that the T1-Rs are a little better although maybe softer.

T1R's might work better(?) in a light car such as the 205 but in the Subaru they were crap, too soft sidewalls, squeek like pigs and melt lile bubblegum on track. Steering feel is not great either.

Hankook S1 Evo are not much more expensive and are alsmost as good as Michelin PE2!
