Long Pedal Travel ?

Recommended Posts

pugpete1108

aside form the issue with the snapped bleed nipple i think my brakes are working pretty well apart from the extremely long pedal travel.

i was wondering if there is anyway of changing this? either by way of pedal adjustment or would it be m/c rod adjustment?

Are you sure that they're bled properly? Normally long travel means that there's still air in the system in my experience.

could just be that then.

i'll crack on getting this nipple out  and maybe get a decent bleeding system sorted and bleed it again.

what are easybleeds like? better than a non return valve?

its got good braking but not until the pedal nearly reaches the floor.
