Recommended Posts

hi,

as above ive just put a box out of a 306 and have changed the side ways arm over, but when doing it the shaft did drop down in to the casing, only about 10mm, would this be enough to upset something on the selectors for it to lose first and second ? the arm isnt fouling on the casing and isnt the stick itself, if anyone has come across this befor any info would be apritiated befor i pull it back out or is it ive just bought a duff box ?

Miles will know more in sure, but as he said its dropped and you can simply (with a bit of fiddling) lift it back up and put the pin back through. Same thing happened to me, thought it was a duff, but it was all good in the end!

what i mean is it's all back together and the selector is in its correct place with the arm fitted, ie everything ok on the outside but no 1st or 2nd !
