Are they specific to the v6 or do you mean std 205 ones

Specific to the v6 not sure if there the same as standard ones, I need the actual shaft measurement without cv's on.

depends which engine mounts you are using to a point, Paul Simmonds can make them up for you, his shafts will suit any that use the standard 205 gearbox mounting as that determines the side to side location of the engine.

I knew there would be something I forgot to say, I'm using one of pauls top mounts then a standard top gearbox mount and a fabricated lower one, Paul did tell me sizes but it was a long time ago and I can't remember where I wrote them down.

James,

Iv got to make another set for mine this week as I sold the last set, ill dig out the sizes. If you bring yours over on the weekend you can do the cutting and ill weld them up. I think I have some spare bars to hold the shafts strait you can have.

Paul.

Paul,

I may have another o/s shaft done if your knocking some up this week. If thats ok with you :P

James,

One thing I would say is it worth measuring your car and set up, as every car could be slightly different and you could end up with a slightly loose shaft or a slightly tight shaft. I belive Sarty has had this problem on evo2 after reading his project thread.

I will reply to your pm later too. I have been away with work and not had chance yet <_<

n/s shaft needs to be 350mm and the o/s shaft needs to be 380mm on a 205 with 205 arms add 5mm if running with 309 arms. Measurements taken from end to end on an unassembled shaft with no joints. As Mark said Peugeot's do tend to vary in dimension from year to year. Iv had trouble in the past getting a good panel gap after repairing some accident damage, turns out there was a 4 mm difference in length of the 3 second hand doors I had and they were all peugeot ones.

Mark,

As long as you can get the shaft to me before the end of August ill have time to get it done. ill pm you the best address to send it to.
