Throttle Body

Just wondering if anybody knew if there was any difference in the throttle body of a 1.6 gti and a 1.9 gti?

The throttle body should be the same on both as far as I know.Manifold is the same on both too.

there a few variations in design and manufacturer but they are all the same size.

Is there any throttle bodies i can adapt to the 1.6 to give it abit more air or is that a whole conversion?

I really don't think that will make any noticeable difference whatsoever.

 

Any other mods you may be considering or wishing to consider are in the technical and project sections already, so well worth a read through with a nice cuppa.

 

Areas to focus on though will be camshaft, exhaust manifold/system and proper management.
