Well last week we decided to cut across the fens in good old Norfolk. I had driven this road many a time before and knew it quite well.

 

Unfortunately the council decided to resurface the road, well I say resurface spread pea shingle all over the road.

 

Rather than doing the whole road with out warning signs or marking they only did the corner.

 

I wasn't going particularly hard but it was dark and I didn't see the shingle until I was on top of it at about 25-30ish went to turn in, oh no Mondeo wants to plough forward.

 

 

 

 

 

My fault I should expect marbles to be on every corner just lucky I managed to get most of the speed off. The car if f***** as the ecu is in the drivers foot well similar to a 205 that was underwater.

If the council made a mess and not put up signs then they may be in trouble if you pursue it.
