306 Seats

Hi,

 

Someone living near to me is breaking a 5-door 99 D Turbo 306 with half-leather seats. Does anyone know if they'll fit my 1990 1.6 Gti?

think you might need to make up some little square plates and fit them to the gti subframes to fit the fronts but have no idea about the rears.

a 99 car may have side airbags, in which case they weigh a bloody ton.

Ive got a complete 306 interior that i thought about putting in. From what i have read the front seats fit but you will need mounting brackets. No idea about the rears yet.

I'd make sure you actually prefer the seats first. In my 306 gti the seats are the worst thing about the car IMO. In half leather they look good but seem too wide and flat to me. Very little side support. I think 205 gti seats are much better.

 

Just my opinion though
