My red 1.6 costs over £300 to insure which is quite a lot but I think it's mostly down to being parked on the road overnight.

That's £1100 less than I pay. I hate paying insurance with a passion.

£310, was pissed off when the renewal came through, because it was £285 the previous two years.

Just renewed, £192, fully comp, that's on a classic policy with Heritage, with limited mileage, a decent guaranteed value and salvage retention too. But I'm knocking on a bit now and to be honest the car is a covered ornament in the garage for probably 360 days a year!

I'm 24 and last may (I was 23 at the time) I had 2 years NCB, 3 points (SP30) and the 1.9 in my sig, i spent £530 fully comp with privilege. was the cheapest by far!

£298. If it wasn't for my missus achieving the below, while being a named driver on my policy, then it should have been £150ish....

er, dr10 = drink driving?

in10 = driving without insurance I think?

hmm, well I think I can see why you're being charged that much!

Just over £1000 to insure me on the (admittedly heavily modified) Roland Garros. At least I CAN insure it now!

£133 Fully Comp (Classic), Limited to 3,000 Mile, Agreed Value, All Mods Declared. Age 48 (ouch)...... Oh and no points.

You don't get NCD on a classic policy and it must not be a daily drive.

Who's paying less than £99?

I didn't vote as i don't have a single car policy.

But the last policy i had on my 1.6 alone was in the 300-399 bracket, which seems to be common.

The few that are paying £1500+ seriously need to shop around. (or they've got a bad record!)
