any reputable motor parts place should be able to get you a set no problems. Contact your local GSF if not

The dealers definetly do them, the part number is 0204.A0 i believe, they do cost more than a fiver each though so GSF might be the better option. But still, yet another example of pug dealers fobbing off people looking for parts that require a little bit of effort to find!

yes they do mail order, I got some recently for my gti6 engine, they use the same bolts on all the iron block 2.0 16v engines.

their website really is pretty crap regards the information it holds.

These are the correct bolts if their listing is correct - 011PC0120 CYLINDER HEAD BOLT SET 406 2.0 16V 15.50

the peugeot part number for them individually is as Sam posted up above, 204 A0

Ordered the bolts from there now. I didnt realise they were star heads. What size heads are they and where can i order the socket from? I need a 1/2 inch drive.

I also need some of the studs that go into the head where the inlet manifold attaches to. GSF doesnt sell these. Is there anywhere else i can try?

Peugeot still do the studs, and unlike the headbolts they arent silly money. Isnt there just one though? (on the top right as you look at the engine), If thats the one you mean its part 6929.23 and is 71p +VAT, you might want to check that one though in case we have our wires crossed.

No there is 8. 2 Per cylinder in a diagonal setup. Ill try and get a picture of the ones i mean.

Edit - The ones poorly circled in blue.

I also need 8 of the bolts circled in green if anyone has a part number?

Oh, you mean the inlet manifold bolts, not the studs. There is one stud, as i have already mentioned. I believe the other 7 are bolts, their part number is 6913.96 and they are a quid or so each, its been a long time since i played with a 2.0 Mi/S16 though so the quantity of each might be a bit out, there is definetly at least one stud though. And the green circled ones you are after are no longer available from Peugeot, but they are just 25mm long M6 bolts so shouldnt be hard to find alternatives.

So the one that is already there is a stud and the rest are bolts?

Thats right, the bare thread that just screws into the block (its already there by the looks of it) and requires a nut is the stud, the others are bolts with the part number i mentioned already.

The exhaust manifold is a similar arrangement. Either way, did you manage to get the headbolts?

My exhaust manifold is all studs and has these rounded locking nuts. Head bolts should be here tomorow. Next job is finding a socket to fit (read about some of them not being deep enough).

I'm pretty sure it's a T55 Torx bit you need, i'm sure someone will correct me if it isn't

Head bolts arrived today but they are the opposite head compared to the ones that came off. I now need a socket that fits around the outside rather then inside.

E55 / female Torx, from memory is the size.

they probably look like this;

for which you'll need one of these.
