Fuel Pump

[zx-vts 0]

hi guys, The fuel pump in my citroen zx has just died and I've been quoted £357 from citroen for a replacement. I now plan on getting a second hand part from a breakers was hoping someone may be able to tell me if any other pumps from the peugeot/citroen range could be used, the car was a 2.0l 8v, now fitted with a vts engine although the pump is the original.

From what I can see it's the same pump on all the ZX's and 306's.

I think its the same pump in the phase 1 306, the phase 2 onwards had a level sender integrated into the fuel pump unit too, but I wouldn't be surprised if the pump itself is the same.

 

All the larger engined zx's used the same pump.

 

 

 

I have the same engine in my ZX but mine was a 16v originally
