Thanks Andrew, I am going to look at a V50 T5 on Friday.

They run the Volvo/Ford lump so I hope they are quite reliable and good for a few miles

I found this one too, TurboBricks, great name although mainly earlier American kit from the looks of it.

v50 t5 is good, all Volvo's are reliable, a bit bland when compared to the BMW/Audi etc but just as capable if not better in some instances. I've gone from the V70R and to be honest there's little difference to my curent 850R despite a number of years between them.

I want an XC70 (cross country) to tow as I'm going to tow the 205 to the track next year if I can.

I was thinking an Estate would be better than the saloon however if I can't locate a good one I'll have a bar put on mine!

Well done Jonny, so whats happening the Audi?

The Audi should be collected later today, I am doing a few more miles than I anticipaated at the moment and 18 mpg is just too painful at the pumps.

I hope to get 30 mpg out of the Volvo with luck.
