Has Anyone Owned This Gti? Or No Of Anyone That Has Owned It?

Hi all, not been on here since i sold my 1.6 gti but now i want another 205 since someone kindly wrote my 106 gti off. Im Meeting the guy with this 205 on friday and doing a deal with my passat so was wondering if anyone on here has owned it or no anyone that has owned or no who did the mi16 conversion?

oh and thought i would add that the guy has sent me pics and it looks to be running on the proper mi16 loom/ecu as there is no distributor adapter plate and its still on the 1.6 rear beam.

Hmm, Not keen on the add at all really, Same old thing's, Rear beam to lower (Sounds like a easy job) but as you know can be expensive, 170bhp standard, LOL show's how much he knows about these and I;d want to know where the engine was done and who installed it first

Looks ok in the photos but it makes you think about the quality of the respray if they got overspray on the trim, surely a good quality job would involve removing the trims first? Also being an MI16 conversion you would expect him to post a photo of the engine bay??
