Cti Headlining Straps (knicker Elastic?!)

Recommended Posts

lagonda

Just removed the O/S roof hinge/mounting cover...the large grey plastic trim adjacent to the top of the rear seat. The corner of the headlining revealed has a loop of black knicker elastic type material stitched in at the front corner, not attached or around anything.

Can anyone tell me where it's supposed to attach....I suppose it was elasticated originally, but no stretch in it now!

Usually wrapped around the hinged roof mounting, as you would wind around cleats (fig of 8 if you get my drift)

Mine wrapped around the top of the power hood ram. It keeps the inside of the lining taught on the rear quarters

Thanks guys...not a power hood on mine, guess this strap not being attached is why I have a few holes worn through the lining by the hood frame!
