Anyone else here having problems with the M3D software in Windows 7 ?

 

I can open the program, connect to ECU, load and write programs to it, but it is impossible to change any parameter in the maps, if I try to change a value it hangs instantly.

 

Is this normal for win7 and emerald m3d software?

Best bet would be to give Emerald a call I think, they'll be able to tell you. I've always had a prompt reply to emails when I've sent a query.

Are you running Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

Not really, I gave up to get it to work, asked Emerald but they only told me that the K3 software at least worked in Win7 so never really got any answer if it worked with the M3D.

 

Rather just upgrade to K3 over the winter and hope the engine is mapped good enough for this weekends activities.
