Mud Flaps

I am after some mud flaps for the gti was thinking slick rally style as I had an evo with mud flaps on and I like it but seen some pictures on here with them on a 205 and they look a little silly

 

So what other options have I got in terms of mud flaps don't think plastic would be ideal as it will be lowered eventually.
