Can Anyone Help Me Out?

Hi there I need to know the exact excternal diameter of the gti6 throttle body? Im picking a new 205 up Wednesday after my sorrento gti6 got trashed on the way to Pugfest , and need to get a hose to join it to my k&n ! So if anyone knows or can check for me id be appreciated.

Since I posted up about the accident I recived many pms and get wells from the forum members as I said my partner and I were both lucky to come out of it alive my partner took the brunt worst luck and ended up with a broken nose with 3 stitches and 42 stitches in her forehead 22 dissolveable inside and 20 outside which were taken out last friday.

Anyway a certain forum member posted me a pm with simply an offer I couldnt refuse. Just bearing in mind this man had just flown in from a bit of R&R in Finland with his Son he was willing to go straight to work 6hrs after landing to remove an MI engine from a donor car that was in great condition(12mnth M.O.T) to fit into his old Red 205 which alot of you have seen and i belive been in, anyway as you know its a very well screwed together 205 with many mods which can be seen in his Sig. Just to say now aswell he promised to get me on the road by today!! That was 6 days in total off the plane transfer the engine and box and finish on Saturday which left him yesterday,today and tomorrow before he goes to Australia for a well earned R&R. well i recived an e-mail yesterday with a video and pics of a stunning cherry red 205 for me to start working on again..

 

 

 

I take it you have all guessed by now who I am on about????

PS. Sorry I just noticed you said internal diameter? I need the external diameter of the throttle body..

No Luke, he said internal diameter JOINER, which will fit the correct external diameter of the GTI6 body and K&N filter. Pete's measurement will be accurate.
