blessed6383 0 Posted July 18, 2010 just wondered anyone else has seen this rust above o/s/f door/window on phase two cars when i say window i mean window in qtr panel. is this common or am i just unlucky to find this think the ph2 just seem to rust worst than ohers as my (k) 92 car has had bit welded front N/S inner wing and floor of the boot has a small hole N/S aswell yet few years back when i had my old ph 1.5 89 (f) had not a single bit of rust on it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jackherer 543 Posted July 18, 2010 I've got an '89 F reg phase 1.5 shell outside with rust forming above the rear quarters. First time I have seen it there on anything other than an early phase 1. Every time the cracks in the paint that all 205s seem to have there have been discussed over the years the response has always been that they all do it and its nothing to worry about but clearly its not good to leave a route open for moisture to get in and they will eventually start to bubble quite badly.
