205 Rear Lights?

a random question but wanted to know whats the general opinion of 205 owners:

 

What rear lights do people prefer:

 

Old stlye 205

 

New Style 205

 

Lexus Style

 

Clear Clusters

depends on the age of the 205, but never lexus or clear.

yeh I agree, however I never liked the old style lights and have changed them to the new style ones after some messing around with wiring!

oh yeh not to mention the addition of the fog and reverse lights in the valance!

Standard lights according to year looks best but then i like keeping things original

seamed to have forgoten the black and smoked lights i got some off totalcarcosmetics.co.uk

 

if you thinking of changing the lights its a bit of a mair if your going from phase 1 to phase 2

I know recently did the switch and had to rewire all the loom and relocate the reverse and fog lights into the valance!

Over the years many people converted phase 1 to phase 2 tail lights as they made the 205 look more modern. But people now want there phase 1 205s to be original as possible. This year i have converted 4 205s back to there original phase 1 tail lights and orange front indicators.

Whatever the car was supposed to have on it - I have phase I lights and that's how I like it. Phase II fine on a phase II car.

 

Clear lights/smoked lights no thanks.

 

Lexus lights - I might deliberately crash into you just to smash them.

Dont forget the variations of standard lights, i like the smoked verisindicators on on myph 2 miami, but on a red\white 205 the red tinted indicator.

I agree with them having standard age related lights, I love the look of phase 1 and 1.5 205s with their orange indicators

not a fan of lexus ones either!!! the phase 1 lights are ok on phase 1's but dont really like the yellow indicators!!
