Can't help with the fuel tank I'm afraid as not done one but I don't think it's a major job. What colour is your car? Might have seen you around.

The tank is pretty straightforward to remove.

A couple of rusty bolts could be interesting but it's just a case of disconnecting the fuel pump and sender and then the filler pipe and some breathers.

Brute force?!

They should come out easy really - just 20 years of crud under there.

When doing something like this i like to use WD40 on all fastners the night before and again on the day leave for couple of hours and repaet again just before you unloosen

Yeh seen it around, was parked up round the corner from the co-op on Narborough Road maybe last month. My mate lives on the same rd. I've got a black Mi16 with Goodwood wheels. Should pop along to the leicester meet sometime. It's at the Foxhunter on the 1st Monday of the Month.
