i went out to my car yesturday filled expansion tank up and when i started it there was loads of pressure and all the water came out of my exhaust backbox and every joint is this head gasket? piston rings? is there any other tests i can do to find out what it is?

if waters coming out the exhaust sounds like cracked block had this on a 309gti i bought few years ago

did you fill it to the top or to the max mark?

 

If its coming out the back though it does sound like the a HG. When you say all the other joints, where do you mean?

i mean every joint on the exhaust where theres a clamp its mainly out of back box but all the exhaust joints are letting water out i fill the expansion tank to full to bleed the system as it had no water in it when i brought it of a bloke

what does the oil look like? head gasket normally u get (mayo) creamy s*it if the oils mixing with the water

oil looks fine it smells of petrol no creaming its clean oil there is a very little bit in expansion tank and a little smell of prtrol

Either head gasket or cracked head. You need to remove the head and see what is what.
