It's Happening....

Sold the 205 to Dr Sarty back in about march and did a swap for some ££ my way and a little 106 1.1 runaround.

Now driving and getting 40-60mpg is great - oober cheap motoring and the Pug is suprisingly nippy in 3rd gear.

BUT, and it's a full blooded capital 'but', I'm starting to mis the 205. Yes it was a pain in the arse when it didn't work but over the 2 years I had it, I spent it's value easily on new bits to get her running sweet. When I sold it, it only had a couple of niggles which Rich sorted promptly.

I'm starting to hamper after another - maybe a 92-93 pre cat model. Little younger so not as much needs replacing, but aside from gearbox and cambelt type stuff, I'm ok service wise.

Someone tell me I shouldn't have come back and just said all the above LOL.

Sod it, I'll have a mooch in the For Sale section and Pistonheads while I have a spare hour at work.

Heres a picture that will convince you not to come back to the fold.

Awww, SEX !!

Right eBay now I guess.

Probably get about £400 for my runaround and will have to look at saving.

Also got a little 'un on the way - arse! (although I'm delighted to be becoming a first time father).

Doesn't work like that any more, go for whichever is the right price and has a decent body, these tend to be late P1.5's and early P2's, though that's not to say you wont find a good early or late car.

Hmm, seeing the prices on eBay and Pistonheads etc, probably a little out of my reach currently. Looking at around £1500+ for a soundish one.

CTIs are well priced currently and rapidly on the up. Not so baby friendly though

Not so straight-man friendly either!! :) Sorry only messing! If you keep an eye out you will find a good 'un for 1500, just be patient, as hard as it is.
