My 5th Gentry By Far The Best Condition

Recommended Posts

IOWGENTRY

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would put up pics of my new Gentry, this is my 5th Gentry and I think the best condition Gentry I have had!!!! I would have preferred Green but saw this one with no sunroof in suprisingly good condition with a load of history and went for it.

I see Aztec Gold as a perfect challenge to make look cool and retro!!!! What do you guys think of her?

Looks very nice, more beige than you can shake a stick at though :)

Does look in remarkable condition, well done. Is it rude to ask how much you paid?

I like that :) There's three I know of round here. One's used by a Dominos delivery driver and has a sign on the roof! :)

You don't get many non sunroof Gentrys. Aztecs had gold wheels compared to Sorrentos (as I am sure you know) as well as gold bumper inserts. The 1.9 wheels would look good back to Aztec spec, perhaps with a polished rim? Nice to see you have the carpets too, though most Gentrys seem to still have theirs (though they are very thin compared to GTI ones, the same as CTI carpets).

Price wise I know of people who have picked up VGC Gentries with sub 30k miles and FSH for well under a grand. A bargain for a daily runner.

I like that... sounds like a bit of a bargain.

I can remember these when they first came out but don't think I ever saw the gold ones, only seen the green. Can't be many around now? (although there must be a few if you've had five!)
