You must be mad

If you are having trouble finding info on them, think how bad it'll be trying to find parts!

You don't see many of them as iirc they tend to get their engines robbed to go into something else, although I forget what.

Right after a fair bit of reading it seems like the engine is only in the piazza so might be hard to source bits for but it so cheap and quite rare so i might have a do ,

Cant seem to find anything on tuning though I.E what sort of power people are getting out of these .

I seem to recall an edition of the original 'Retro Cars' that had a Chevette with tweeked Piazza running gear, I'll try to dig it out.

Retro Cars article is claiming 220bhp, with standard turbo and no intercooler. Turbo is IHI (Izusu Heavy Industries? - haven't googled that so probably wrong) but apparently turbos from Imprezas can also be fitted. Bhp figure was with 18psi of boost and claim that the engine could take a good bit more.

Twas an Opel Kadett in the article and really did look like a fine beast and testament to the skills of the owner. Seems a very driven chap with a great mechanical aptitude.

I'll happily post up a scan if that would be of any use? Might take me a while as I'm lazy.

Probably the most comfortable car ive ever sat in. Strange dash setup and a graphic equalizer as standard (i think). No idea about the mechanicals though.
