New beam on, and I think it's too low At least the passenger side wheel isn't mm from the rear valance now! No squeak when it went down either.

 

 

Final jobs to be done over the next 7 days:-

 

Fit other interior and clean carpet.

Change inner wing coolant hose to smaller diameter one from BBM.

Fit Xsara rack - I should have done this when it was engineless! Doh!

Refit white wheels with Falkens.

 

And then it's done!

what loom did you use by the way?

I mated the 1.9 to the GTi6 loom following this guide. It's very easy.

Car now finished and waiting for a clean, fitted braided hoses to the front, a set of Mintex 1144s, the xsara rack and finally refitted my wheels with my favored tyres - they need a pro refurb but that can wait for now.

 

 

Also removed the old knackered interior and the grubby carpet and damp underlay.

 

 

Should get the replacement interior in one evening this week.

 

Going to remove the glass and decent bits of bodykit from the black shell and send it to the peugeot dealer in the sky next weekend.

So what are the favourite tyres you have gone for ? I need some for mine coz the Kumbo boby dodges I have on at the moment are rubbish

They are falken 912s, very good value for money.

 

Damien - mine needed trimming to clear the inlet and a pipe on the throttle body.
