Race Engine Oil Change Intervals

Just wondered what intervals the oil and filter in my rallycar engine should be changed. A rally is usually 50-60 miles of racing at 5000-8250 rpm. Currently using Millers CFS 5w40.

Any help much appreciated.

The only time I change oil and filter in any of the cars I work on is when the engine comes in or out. Really about twice in the entire season.

 

Key is buying a good oil to start with, and with no problems I cant see much point in changing it.
