Exhaust Issue

Sent the car off to get the tracking done a couple of days ago, they had issues due to the rods being seized so the car was down the workshop for a couple of days. Went to collect it a few days after dropping it off. Watch the mechanic reverse the car out of the workshop, and it made me think something looks different. Then noticed the exhaust wasnt on it.

The mechanic had no memory of an exhaust being on the car as the car is no where near ready and is loud anyway and there is no cctv footage around the area, however i am awaiting footage from a nearby unit to prove the car got towed there with an exhaust on it.

 

he assures me that because of the type of car it is, its been stored in the workshop overnight however has been pushed out during the day, which can only point fingers to it happening during the day.

 

hopefully with proof of it being on the car in the cameras it can go through his insurance.

 

so my first query is... guys can you please be on the look out for a magnex backbox for a 205 gti for sale in the kent area. It was stolen from a workshop in gillingham, medway.

 

and secondly, as im now on the lookout for a new replacement, what does everyone recommend as a good match to the magnex 4 branch manifold i already have on the car? the car will be used for track days so something not too loud please and ideally not too big.
