Multiple Coil Packs

Is there an adaptor available so I can use multiple coil packs on an Mi16. I'm picturing an optical device to replace the distributor. At this stage I am running the std bosch motronic system

I think you'd be far better off keeping it simple Mark, and running just as it is, as the Mi16 doesn't really have a distributor as such. The ECU controls advance and spark timing anyway, and you won't notice any difference with individual coil packs anyway.

 

The only time you might, is if you invested in a new, mappable ECU, which needs a loom and rolling road set-up so may cost over 2,000 AUD.

 

In short: not worth it IMO.
