Back On The Road Club 2010

mines finally back on the road after 2 years sat in the workshop sans engine/suspension/interior :D passed MOT 2 weeks ago (after initlally failing on wishbones and welding) and got it taxed on thursday for pugest today and it feels sooooo good to drive! althou recaro bucket seats and shorts make for v odd tan marks

 

anyone else getting theirs finally back together after a long spell in pieces?

finally got mine fired up on the itbs toaday afer having them about 2yrs!!

thanks again for those maps put emerald base map on to start it,once its on the road will try the other 6 one then once my tt lump been collected il take it to dave for a mapping session

Not quite the same, but yesterday the track car I half own with my mate came to my house to stay for a bit for the first time since I reshelled it 3 years ago. Took it for a blast this afternoon, its not as rapid as my turbo car, but the stiffness from the cage and hence handling more than makes up for it.

I'll be joining this club very soon, mines /only/ been off the road for 10 months but I have only owned it 11!

hopefully mine will be on the road in less than a month after being off the road for 3yr, just waiting on my dash to come back from the flockers..

 

would have loved to take it down to pugfest, ooh well

Mine has been off for nearly 6 years. Mot'd it last week and taxed it on the first. I drove it for two hours then it broke so never got to take it to pugfest which was the intention.

Mine has been off the road since the Tax ran out end of April. Just as I was about to re-tax it the bugga won't start (electrical issue) now.

 

I'm starting to miss it badly, must look out the brown multi-plug guide or something soon....!!!

 

Hoping to be back on the road later this month at the latest.

Not quite in pieces, but I'll be driving mine again in September after a year of not driving it.

Well the last time i drove mine was September 14th

I stripped it over the winter and will have it painted within the next two or three weeks, so i am hoping to have it back on the road by mid August after a full respray new trim and bumpers mot and tax oh and about £1500.00 later

mines has been of the road for 5 years sat in my garage

just pushed it out at the start of the year to take to my work and finnish her of

gave her a wash and fell in love all over again

fingers crossed will have her ready by end of this year.

Mine had been off the road since the end of 2009 sitting underneath a car cover. The other day I got the train home, started it up first time and drove it 180 trouble-free (albeit pretty noisy) miles down the M4 to Wales, where it was put in a garage, and will probably be off the road for another 6 months
