Radiators

Afeternoon all,

 

After an unsuccessful afternoon working on my car, topped off with stabbing a rather large hole into my radiator I now need a new one. I have had a browse on the bay and found this one which looks quite good to my untrained eye?

My last rad was a eBay jobby but it was copper and couldn't keep my car cool in traffic too save it's life. What do you all think too this rad?

Copper cools better than alloy, but a new radiator cools better than an old one full of sludge.

 

A new alloy one should be more than enough to keep the car cool, as long as it's not overheating for other reasons.

nope no overheating, just traffic when sitting in traffic the fan cuts in quick and doesnt shut up rather annoying. I thought alminium rads are supposed to cool better as the water flows faster and the rads supposedly don't corrode as quick or as much?

ive got one of those rads new in the garage mate. you can have it cheaper then that plus minus postage if you like,combined with dropping that box off and googling at my itbs
