Bottom Damper Bolts

Recommended Posts

Sorry, not really a question, more of an observation. Has anyone else noticed that the lower damper bolts on Peugeot rear beams seem to be tighter on the driver side

I allways seem to have lot of problems removing the bolt from the trailing arm whereas the passenger side one just slips out. Weird

I had exactly the opposite last week, though the r/h side does go first bearing wise, and the r/h torsion bar is the one I find that seizes on more commonly too.

It's certanly a strange one. Every beam i've done the bolt has been really difficult to remove but the other side is never particularly hard. Just wondering why the drivers side seems to get all of the corroded parts.

The drivers side on on mine is welded in place for some reason!
