i think my convictions are all before it became widely available, so haven't been on one myself. know plenty of people who have, as most will

 

my parents were both caught by a local camera and have both to attend one soon (moderately amusing) - although my dad's also now being prosecuted for a S172 failure to provide driver details, as he innocently returned the form, volunteering himself as the driver, but stating he couldn't be sure it was him (photos were useless) - and they wrote back saying S172 as well!! got to be so careful with them; may be a bit naive on his part, but you'd have hoped for some sort of common sense approach out of them. he's got to spend money fannying around with solicitors now

Wish they'd let me do the course when I had mine, but it was probably too fast. 4 cocking years is long enough to have a certain stigma on your licence. And now they want £20 to take it off my licence. I've done my time you bastards.

 

if you move into your sisters,mums,mates house and do a change of address when your points are finished your licence is done free of charge.of course once you get your licence back you move back

Didn't think they offered you the speed awareness course for the first lot of points??If they do then bonus,go for it!!
