not sure what car my engine came out of / year etc but im looking for cambelt, tensioner water pump and looking at a cambelt&tensioner on ebay and it says one is year 91-94 and the other ad is 94-99 but im wondering if there is any difference between years for said items?

i would guess the tensioner is different mate if you google the engine code or check buzzbox they are online haynes manuals on there for peugeots should be able to find it

i know there out of the 406/605/xantia/xm but im not sure what 'my' engine is out of that i bought off someone and need to replace the parts previously said and looking on ebay theres different years for water pump etc but been told by one person that they all should be the same but just want to make sure.

If you look at the front of the block to the right of the oil filter there is an engine code stamped there, this should solve your problems

all i could find was 19, k92 and ns

am i taking the number k92 as year 92?

It took me two minutes to find that, you could have had your cambelt ordered. The search is your friend.

Sorry mate, I was refering to the bit about the date stamp, presume it is 92 if it's where the highlighted bit is.

not sure where the confusion is coming from, there were no changes on servicebox for this engine, same water pump and timing belt kit throughout as far as I can see.

for all cars (406,xm,xantia,605) welsh? i was looking on ebay at water pumps and one was 91-94 and the other 94-99 for the same car so just wanted to check first but from what iv seen my self they all look the same. could you check for me?
