Some C**t Crashed Into My 205

Recommended Posts

For all we know the driver might be a short person and not have the rear view mirror set correctly and not totally use to the full length of the vehicle

And Garry Glitter only handed out the smarties to kids because he didn't like the blue one's

Gutted for you mate - I had the same thing happen to my 528i outside M&S but (luckily) I watched it happen.

Some 3.5 foot tall Chinese woman clipped it whilst 'attempting' to par her Audi A8

The car was 2 years old and had a dent one every single panel so I feel sorry for the all cars that she had damaged in the past with her crap driving and mahoosive car.

There was a silver lining though, I got a brand new Mercedez S class as a courtesy car for 2 weeks while mine was repaired

Agreeed what is the point in CCTV if you cannot actually gain any information from it. We have CCTV at my work and you can zoom in and read what is written on a piece of paper on the floor.

Unlucky, it’s a shame your works CCTV is a bit pants. Glad your 205 isn’t that badly damaged tho.

I've had someone crash in to me at slow-ish speed and i needed a new rear quarter panel :( but plastic trim and red insert we’re fine tho.

Good News... a customer turned up at work and handed in a piece of paper with the guys registration number on it ! (It was a Mazda 6).

I've reported him to the police, just need to verify some more details with them before I go to the insurance company. I certainly won't be paying the dent puller, and I hope the police do him for leaving the scene of an accident.

I did have a proper look over the 205 and the panel does seem to be pushed in slightly, but hopefully won't be a hard job for any panel specialist.

This will learn him......c**t.

Great news

Those dent puller guys are worth every penny, might be worth you getting any other car park dints etc out at the same time

Why on earth would he go to them, when this is a clear-cut legal case against the driver of the Mazda?

I'm sure the dent guys are very good, but I'm not sure that's really relevant to this particular topic.

Make sure you take them to the cleaners, teach them that it would have been cheaper and easier to own up first time.

I would not be letting them off lightly with the dent man repairing it

Get it straight down to Peugeot and let them give you a price

Plus every time you see the person that damaged your car i would be saying in a very loud voice

"look there is the guy that crashed into my car and drove off" while pointing at him (unless he is a big guy  )

How can you buy a £10 spy camera from eBay with pretty decent quality, yet CCTV systems cost thousands to implement and only produce s*ite like this? If modern technology can fit a 12mp camera into a mobile phone then why are SECURITY systems still complete pants?!?!

Sorry to be Mr Negative, but I've been waiting about 4 months for the Police to do something about the f***ing maniac that was hanging off my van on the motorway earlier this year. They had his reg number, a good description and his name and address and still haven't done s*it! I'd be very surprised if you get anything more than a standard "Sorry to hear you've been the victim of crime. If there's anything else we can do for you in the future, please let us know. Lots of love, The Police" letter. Best of luck to you though!

To be honest as long as his insurance covers the damage to my car i'm not overly fussed. Getting him done for leaving the scene of an accident is a bonus to me.

Yeah, but my point was the police are absolutely useless when it comes to things like this. I've not heard anything back from them since submitting my witness statement, it's such a joke!

I really hope on this occasion they're a bit more useful though, and best of luck getting it sorted.
