Gsxr 1000 Throttle Bodies Trumpets

Recommended Posts

vickiw106

I have recently just brought a set of gsxr 1000 throttle bodies to fit to my 205 rally car,

One thing I am I need of is a set of trumpet, ram pipes air horns (what ever people might call them)

Does anyone know where I can get these from or is there a way of modifying another application to fit?

Thanks

Ian

Colin Satchel makes some to fit, not sure if any mods are required bar a few grub screw holes.

You could get in touch with Eeyore (Colin Satchell) on here. I have his e-mail address, as he's not on here often.

He makes excellent manifolds for carbs and bodies, as well as trumpets.

As I said on the phone, I strongly recommend against silicon joiners on your manifold and also against socks instead of a proper ITG/Pipercross air filter with backplate.

And it's 'bought' not brought, as you did 'buy' them rather than 'bRing' them.

If you could send me his email address that would be good

I have done away with the silicone hoses and they are going to be solid mounted, I also will have a proper filter not sock as we discussed

Jenvey make a nice selection of trumpets, and I'll be using them on my GSXR bodies.
