Piston Protrusion

Recommended Posts

Do the pistons protrude beyond the top of the liners?

I have a length of steel flat bar bolted across the top of the liners whilst the head is off to avoid disturbing the liner seals. I am going to be fitting new big end bearings and would like to be able to rotate the crank.

Cheers

Not sure but if you turn the crank the worst that'll happen is it'll stop turning when/if a piston touches the bar.

You not changing the mains as well?

I'm fairly certain they don't after a think.
