Rear Negative Camber Specs

Recommended Posts

I'm considering getting my rear arms sleeved for negative camber. What is the optimum camber setting for a rear beam? Does 2.5 degrees sound about right? Also is there any advantage of toe in/toe out as well? Car is for sealed surface rallies/track days.

Any help much appreciated

I would say 2.5 is too much tbh, between 1- 1.30 would be fine. This can be achieved by using zx rear arms or 306 items. The benefit of 306 items though is they toe in which improves high speed stability.

Depends what tyres you are running first of all.

Radial Slicks would work well with 2.5° negative but if your going for crossply's you need a lot less.

Xsara vts or GTI6 give 1.5 or 1.3 camber and toe in. Works very well for me! :)
