Mirror Arm Gaiter

Recommended Posts

lemmingzappa

I bought a pair of interior plates for my wing mirrors from Pug. But they don't come fitted with the rubber gaiter which sits over the control arm, and I can't seem to see a part on servicebox ?

This is the part i'm after:

I've struggled to remove it from my old plate as it is glued in rather well and seems to tear all over the place.

you're looking at the wrong diagram.

the plates are;

9013 83 LEFT INT - SINCE - 1988 SEE B

9013 84 RIGHT INT - SINCE - 1988 SEE B

B ) WITH OBLONG HOLE

and I believe the rubber bit might be

9013 80 GUSSET STRIP INT - SINCE - 1987 WITH HOLE

hmm, gusset strip with hole...

have a search under those part numbers and the file will come up, have a look if the picture is what you want.

Ah I've always sucked at using Servicebox.

I did think that could have been it, but then I wondered why there would be a gusset strip without a hole ?

The number on the gaiter I have is 92533492 9, but that probably doesn't mean much tbh.

I'll have to order one and find out I guess, thanks for the help.

I think some early base spec 205s only came with a drivers door mirror, hence the need for a gusset strip without a hole, I think..

( I could just be making this up after some late nights on service box.. :))
