Cage Mounts

Anyone know where i can get a new set of cage mounts for an omp cage,cant seem to find any! Thanks

for my omp cage i made them from what i have seen the mounts are pretty crapy :lol:

yeh as i realy dont think the standerd spreader plates which come witht them seem to have small surface area. the cages are nt brilliant but i have made small changes to mine and they arent that bad......

Make your own plates or take it to your local fabricator.You can box them in properly to fit to the inner sill and make it look really neat,plus will be stronger.

I had a guy on the 106RR make some for my Saxo. Sent him drawings and dimentions and then he folded and Tigged them for me. I then had to mark the holes and weld the bolts on to the back before welding the plated in place.

 

They look much better than standard Sparco mounts. I guess they're much stronger too.

Thanks lads for the replys, yeah i have the old mounts cut out now some i am going to take them up to a mate here to get him to remake them and his work is tasty better than the omp scrap. Any of you have any pics of the improved mounts you had made for ideas etc?

The only reason im using an omp cage as it cost me £50 notes and couldnt pass that up.

Am i right in thinking that you can keep all the back seats in etc as i really want to keep all that stuff in dont want the rally look and like a little sound damping lol
