Cylinderhead Filter

hi guys, can anybody help? im in middle of doing up a spare cylinder head ready to be swoped with my own. Theres an inline filter in the head, in a port that goes straight through the head from the cam shaft area , i think its an oil return to sump line. the one in there is fubard, and i carn't seem to find it on service box. (1.9 xu9ja 1991) many thanks, matt.

In the oil feed from block to head, front cambelt side.

Part number 1186.08, I believe. Costs £6.65 from your friendly peugeot stealer.

yep £6.65, + VAT, cheers guys, there's one in the head im working on but its really brittle, didn't take to kindly to some compressed air, so would really like a new one, rather than use a used one, just for peace of mind. I'm gonna pick it up with the head gasket hopefully they got me the right one 3rd time lucky hopefully.

Cursed peugeot, it should be £5.66 +VAT, which works out at £6.65 all in! Thats what i charge for them anyway.... at citroen. Always worth going in to the main stealer in dirty overalls and saying you are from 'X' garage down the road to blag some trade discount aswell which on this item would be 15%.

 

Anyways, im just avoiding work again....

one more thing i brought some valve stem seals from peogeot dealers, they came with some copper washers does anybody know what these are for?

3 of them? for the camshaft cover bolts IIRC.
