Cti Seals

[Para 82 2 Cars]

My friend is struggling to fit the seals back on his CTI. Stretching to much could rip them and sourcing from Peugeot probably would cost more then a car itself :/

 

Is there any other place where he could get seals like this which would replace the original ones ? I remember seeing a online shop with parts like carpets/leather/seals/bolts for old/classic cars which are no longer produced. Anyone try that ?

You may be lucky and find a good set on Ebay they do come up for sale now and again but most of them have usually the same shrinkage as your own

I bought one from Pug before but if memory serves me right it was £75.00 and called a weather strip

needless to say i only bought the drivers side and then got a second hand passengers side for £25.00 off the net

Shrinkage is common with old age! You can put some dabs of sealant on them to hold them in place, but there is no real alternative to a replacement. Mine have shrunk front and back and I have a 1993 L plate one

And i am nearly sure one side, or both sides of the rears are no longer available Henry

lucky the rears on mine had already been replaced before i bought it..
