Nice Easy Question For Those Who Know B6d And B6e

Do they run different ECU's? I've swapped engines over from a XU5JA/K (B6E) to a XU5JA (B6D) and it flat spots and missfires like no ones business when you try to accelerate slowly or put it under load i.e. trying to get a up a hill.

I've changed:

Cambelt

Leads

Plugs

Dizzy cap

Rotor arm

Engine Temperature Sensor

Checked the timing

Checked TPS

 

I've got a new coil on the way too. So now I'm stumped.

Nope, All the 115bhp engine's ran the same ECU, Only various changes in the coil and Amp locations
