They are available and they do improve performance noticeably compared to the cast iron S16 manifold. They make less difference with 1.9 Mi16s but for the S16 it is a very worthwhile addition IMO. The only potential problem is bulkhead clearance as the 2.0 is a bit taller but the fit varies from shell to shell, you wont know if they fit yours or not until you buy one and fit one.

I don't want this to sound arsey but given that your post above sounds a bit rude to me, is it really that hard to type something into google and see what it comes up with rather than just expecting people to just tell you everything?

Maybe have a bit of a research first?

Maniflow?

They have one.. a 205 unit?

i typed in s16 4 branch manifold to a google search

and its just forum talk, seems to come up with no suppliers

ive also looked into a gti-6 one, but again, unaware of wheter the stud pattern is the same as there seems to be conflict on that too

Give Miles at Pugracing a try. Either PM him on here (Miles) or look up his eBay shop (PugracingAndGearRodShop). IIRC he get's his manifolds built to the Maniflow design by an ex-Maniflow employee.

On the subject of your writing, are you aware that you construct your posts like they are a poem, or something?

you may wish to go

for a maniflow

be it 10-stud head or be it nine,

they fit them both just fine

also I did dread

it would hit my bulkhead

but I was glad

it wasn't too bad

it needed a slightly bigger gap

so I gave the seam a tap

it used to be a bit near

now it's well clear

As Jackherer's said, they do fit the engine but not the car really unless you bash the bulkhead or tilt the engine, It's slightly missleading on Mani's site really.

I supply them but if sold for one of these engine's it's bought at your own risk for those very issue's, even on the 1.9 Mi it's tight and I;ve re-designed mine to give more clearance but there's little room to work with

If you dont mind

your manifold, or not?

I got mine from a man called Richard Longman,

but there may be a spanner in your plan,

as he is no longer in business, I fear,

he wrapped it up at the start of last year,

however do not feel to peeved,

his work was well copied,

maniflow should still make one,

otherwise try a fake one!

Thats because I don't mislead people into saying it will fit the S16 engine in the 205/309 so I do not list anything for it, But the Mi 1.9 manifold does fit the head as the flange is universal, the manifold is HERE

Don't GTI-6 manifolds fit fine also?

Maybe the same clearance issues are present...

You really need to visit (and read) PeterT's website. You'll learn alot.

Mi and S16 heads are practically identical, but one difference is the exhaust stud number and pattern, i.e. 9 versus 10.

Aftermarket 4-2-1 manifolds such as Miles' or Maniflow's fit both heads.

What you need to be aware of is that depending on your 205 and the block you use (iron block is 11mm taller), either of these aftermarket manifolds may foul your exhaust tunnel (ooer). 205s have differences (somehow) which means sometimes they clear with no modification to the bulkhead.

An original Mi16 (8-1) tubular manifold will not fit an S16 head and vice-versa; although the OE S16 cast manifold is crap anyway.

so essentially

i need one of miles's manifold'sthen , and i am under no illusion it might not fit so some modification might be required

and i best get saving

in closing, will i see a noticable difference with one of those opposed to my cast one

not hot on doing stupid stuff to my engine just want a pit of extra poke for the series i run in

cheers
