Recommended Posts

blessed6383

i know a few of you may have done this and just wondered on the pro's and con's

the engine im considering doing this to is the 1900 D6C alloy block as its already had a few bits done.

i know the other engine runs lower compression but as it also has 10 or so BHP less i wanted to maxamise power out put if possible

cheers for any advice

What do you want, a car that will pull anywhere over the rev range, any gear and return generally good MPG if mapped properly. Or something that will be rather subdued, until you light her up and give her some real beans ;)

How mad do you want to go, What sort of monies are on the table? I wouldn't worry about lowering the compression ratio to much unless your trying to build a real beast you will just hinder your 'off boost power'.

Either route mappable engine managment is a must!

Have a look at a supercharged power graph and a turbo's, which one matches your driving style?

Jesus dude, I can't bite my tongue any longer ;)

Do you ever ever do a search before posting a topic? You've been told countless times by people far more diplomatic than I. Your posting behaviour is akin to troll behaviour. Your previous constant new topics about every single wiring issue you had with your conversion were bordering on spam (you could have easily kept all questions to a single topic, since they were all about essentially the same thing). Just for god's sake, please, put some damn effort in to using the search before you ask questions that have so obviously been covered before.

I'm not deliberately trying to be a wanker about this, but you've obviously chosen to ignore other polite requests to search. And if you ever wonder why your topics don't get much in the way of a response or help, it's probably because everyone feels the same as me - bored of them.

My reply will probably get moderated or removed, but someone has to say this.

You shouldn't have to apologise for saying it either.
