Engine Wont Turn Over?!?

My engine wont start, the battery is reading over 12volts and theres 12volts going to the starter motor but it was just clicking not turning over. So i bought a new starter motor connected it up yesterday and it still wont start wont even click, not even a hint of starting. The battery is reading more than 12volts, immobiliser is turned off. All the electrics work in the car and ive re-plugged the earth to the starter and the positive is perfect. I know it did start! Any ideas Would be great thank you in advance

right if youve got 12v at the starter during cranking postion on the key on both sides of the solenoid then its an earth problem wich is normally why they click .Try a jump lead on the engine or starter motor body and straight back to neg side of the battery .If you still have nothing then try removing the starter and bench testing it.Do a search been covered loads of times mate do a search
