Picture Required Of A Mini Hub Assembely

Recommended Posts

jeremy

Almost as per title. I am currently renovating my old mans trailer, soon to be mine (oh I can't wait my own trailer :) ). I have pretty much finished it other then putting the hub assembely back together again. Unfortunately my dad decided to take the hubs apart about five years ago and made no details of how to put them back together again and now he has forgotten. What he does know is they are the same as old rear mini wheel hubs. So does anyone know where I can get a picture as I do not want to have to buy a Haynes manual unless I have too.

Thanks

Jeremy

pretty straightforward in most cases, just an inner race, then the drum with the outer race in it, then the outer inner race, usually a washer, then the hub/lock nut.

hub/locknut is usually castellated for a split pin through a drilling in the end of the stub axle, or its staked.

I assume yes as they are controlled by a rod mechanism, linked in to the drawbar.

Nope, the mini has a seperate hub with the bearing in, much like a 1.9 205 apart from you can replace the bearing on the mini hub, then the drum fits over the top.
