To Strip Or Not To Strip.

Hi guy's really having trouble with my 205 mi16 as it's still not sparking, i need to sell the car soon (im not allowed to say why till 12 weeks have passed :) another clue i need a 5 door car now lol).

I'm also in the prosses of moving out so i can't chuck the car and money to a specialist to get it going. I really really don't want to strip the car and sell the bits as it's a real shame to do it and it's another one off the road :D . I l.ove the car to bit's but unfortunally other things have to come first now.

So what do you think i should do sell it as a non stater or strip it as you can see from the bit above i need as much money as i can get from Jeff (yes the car has a name lol).

P.s does anyone have a 5 door the want to swap :P

Cheers Ashley...

It's funny, I can often tell that someone will sell up not long after buying by the way they post. After reading just a few of your posts I thought you wouldnt stick with it and alas I was right.

Well i think the car must have heard me talking about selling him and all and now it lives again how strange so just finished putting it back together again lol.

I agree with danpug i think a baby would look cool in the back of a 205 i know i would love to have been karted around in 1 instead i got shifted around in a lada  no jokes please. Jrod i wish i could keep the 205 but it's far to expensive to insure the mrs on it and she is certain that she is not having a 3dr car and i'm not arguing with a pregnant woman lol. I will do my very best to try and keep it as whenever it does work i always get out with biggest smile on my face, it's by far the most unreliable car i have had but i also think it's the best ....

From a time point of view I'd say it's not even worth stripping a 205 anymore as the amount that have or are and parts selling on Ebay for 99p is almost silly, the engine if not a known good one again isn;t worth allot I'm afraid but if you could get it running the value would tripple

Maybe you could sell the child and spend it on shiny bits for the pug? Just a thought...
