Gti6 Conversion

iv been searching but cant seem to find much, are there any guides or how to's on the gti6 conversion?

as far as i can see all i need for the conversion is a shortened exhaust mannifold, thermostat housing adaptor, conversion loom(or cut existing loom) and a loom to ensure the rev counter works.

any help/advice appretiated

there are TOO many sources of information on this conversion. If you cant find any then look harder. from 2 seconds browsing the members car projects, i can see sevral threads about gti6 conversions.

 

these are not always what you have to do, but mostly people need to lower the engine slightly, angle the exhaust, make up a top rad hose, as well as sort out the routing for the pipework, t peice on for oil sensors, ecu wiring spliced in, MC clearance, (not 100% on this, but mi16 clutch and flywheel)
